Project KickStart Pro 5, the leading project planning and project management software for small-to-mid-size projects, is guaranteed to be fully compatible with the latest generation of Microsoft's operating system, Windows 7.
Project KickStart Pro 5 works on all versions of Windows 7, 32 bit and 64 bit.
Recent changes in Project KickStart Pro 5 set up is that projects are saved by default in the "Documents" folder. Also Project KickStart's configuration and utility files are no longer saved in program files folder. Rather, they are saved in the "Documents" folder. We did this mainly to accommodate the security settings of Windows 7 and Windows Vista.
Project KickStart 4 was last updated on May 23, 2008, more than a year before Windows 7 was released, may not run on Windows 7, particularly if it is set to high security. Therefore, we recommend that Project KickStart 4 users upgrade to Project KickStart Pro 5.
Project KickStart 3.2 was released before Windows 7 was finally released, so it is not guaranteed to be Windows 7-compatible. If you're upgrading to Windows 7, we recommend you upgrade to Project KickStart Pro 5.
